Monthly Garden Lectures

The 3rd Saturday of every month • 10:30AM-Noon

Please join us in our garden as Farmer Roy shares a lecture on a new topic each month. After the lecture please join us for a tour of the Greenhouse, the garden and the children’s garden. Light refreshments will be provided.

Successes & Failures in Your Organic Veggie Garden

Why are my cauliflower heads so small? Why did my broccoli flower? What the heck to I do to get rid of these aphids? When and how should I plant my tomatoes?

Come share the good, bad and ugly from your cool season garden experiences. You aren’t alone and together we will answer all your questions and boast of our triumphs. After spending time on our cool season endeavors, we will get you ready to have a successful warm season crop during our most bountiful and dynamic time of the year! Get tips from soil preparation to harvest.

Afterwards, we will tour the greenhouse and gardens to get you excited to plant your favorite Spring veggies.

Please join Cadence Poway Gardens and Dr. Jason Keri to discuss caregiver burnout in the home setting. Caregiver burnout is a state of physical, emotional and mental exhaustion. Burnout can occur when caregivers don’t get the help they need, or if they try to do more than they are able to.

We hope you can join us to discuss techniques and solutions to help. After the event we’ll be providing tours to those interested in learning more about our community.
